Egis
In partnership with Egis Projects, the French based global player in promotion, procurement, integration and operation of ETC schemes, Celtrak hosts an Information Exchange Agency for the National Roads Authority (NRA).
The Information Exhange Agency (IEA) is a complete back-office system, requested by the NRA to facilitate toll operators (COs) and its purpose is to encourage the use of electronic toll payment.
The system allows electronic vehicle tags from one operator to pass through the toll gate of another operator. The charging information is gathered centrally by the IEA service and monthly balancing statements are sent to the COs.
The system comprises of two or more networked services and clients housed in Celtrak, a high capacity dedicated link to the Internet, CO line and interface to the existing toll management systems. The system is entirely automatic, with regular data flows and verification reports generated from a paramterised activity sequence. Full administration, maintenance and support facilities are provided by Celtrak.
