Brady Family are specialists in the production of premium quality, hand-crafted traditional, Irish hams and breakfast meat products. Brady Family hams are 100% sourced from Bord Bia approved Irish suppliers and crafted by hand and are available nationwide in SuperValu, Centra, Dunnes, Superquinn, Tesco, all symbol groups and leading independent delis.

The Challenge

To meet the growing requirements of their customers and to deliver products on time, Brady's sought a telematics supplier to provide real-time fleet management information to headquarters. In addition, Brady's required temperature monitoring of certain vehicles that were on the road. Typical trips are nationwide, urban and rural and with a variety of customer requirements, a fleet management system could provide instant information on all mobile assets.

The Solution

Celtrak installed the Fleetwatch application in all vehicles in the fleet, providing real-time information about vehicle locations and customer deliveries over the GPRS network. The solution provides reports and information to users across multiple business functions, including Accounts, Customer Service, Operations and Quality.

Celtrak also supply an auditable trail of the temperature of goods when in transit. This has become an increasingly important issue for the white van market and Brady's show they can maintain their competitive edge and high quality by using Celtrak's technology.
